Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Locust, NC is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced urgent care team. We offer on-site HQ orientation and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

You will provide patient-focused care across urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine, with room to lead a small team. We welcome new grads; after orientation you will have training shifts with experienced providers and access to a pediatric urgent care course, with ongoing support to grow in

Qualifications

• PA Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher degree required (new grad friendly!).
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain (company covers cost).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using EMR and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat respiratory infections (cold/flu/strep/COVID) and other issues.
• Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal).
• Suturing.
• Splinting.
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review of x-rays (over-read by Radiologist).
• General Dermatology care.
• General eye problems and EKG interpretations.
• Telemedicine and occupational medicine as needed.
