Northwell Health is seeking Physician Assistants for urgent care sites in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Ideal candidates have emergency medicine experience with adults and pediatrics (6 months+), and will perform assessments, orders, and discharge planning as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

This role requires an NY license, NCCPA certification, and BLS, with shifts from 7a to 7p. The position offers opportunities in performance improvement and education within a busy urgent care network.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree from an ARC-PA accredited PA program is required.
• Current NY State PA license is required.
• NCCPA certification must be current.
• BLS certification is required.
• Graduate of an accredited PA program is required.

Responsabilidades

• Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations.
• Initiates the plan of care and follows up to ensure complete care.
• Performs daily patient rounds and documents findings.
• Writes orders for medications, labs, and diagnostic tests.
• Interprets laboratory results and communicates with the care team.
• Discharges patients with summaries and post-discharge instructions.
