Family Medicine Physician for Urgent Care Medicine - 100% Remote - Earn $280,800 annually

Position: Urgent Care Physician

Location: Telehealth / 100% Remote

1099 Model or Sole Proprietor: Full-time and Part-time

Salary: $150/hour plus Malpractice with Tail Coverage

Position Overview

For eight years, Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring Family Physicians for a 100% telehealth position within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
2. Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and practice from 8 am to 9 pm.
3. Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.
4. Manage up to 4 advanced-level practitioners (FNPs and PAs).
5. Equipment: We offer in-house Point-of-Care testing, X-ray, and EKG.
6. A Board-Certified Radiologist reads all X-rays, and results are available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
7. Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation to document all patients in one minute.

Qualifications

1. Completion of a formal Family Medicine Residency Training Program.
2. CA Medical License that is active and in good standing.
3. DEA Certification.
4. Medical Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).
5. Must reside in the state of California.
