Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care beyond traditional urgent care, including procedures like EKG and X-ray interpretation, abscess I&D, infection management, dislocation reduction, splinting, laceration repair, IV hydration, and medication administration.
• Serve as a role model and leader within the clinical team.
• Communicate test results, follow-up care, and treatment plans effectively.
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and support staff, including shifts with scribes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with pediatric experience.
• Licensed in the state of practice.
• Experience with suturing, abscess I&D, and reading diagnostics such as X-rays and EKGs.
• Preferred: Clinical experience in emergency, urgent, or ambulatory care; ACLS and PALS certification.
