• Comfortable with diverse patient demographics including pediatrics and elderly.

Job description

Seeking BC/BE Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to practice world-class medical care in our Urgent Care center located in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Our facilities are recently updated and state-of-the-art, designed to enhance workflow and working conditions. They feature top-of-the-line digital radiology, on-site POC laboratory services, modern patient care rooms, and centrally located work environments with excellent sight lines.

Support staff includes on-site XRTs, physician assistants, medical assistants, nurses, and administrative support. We utilize the EPIC electronic health record for integrated patient data access. Radiology films are available immediately on-site, with radiology over-reads by BC radiologists within 30 minutes. Referral management and full specialty backup are available through the HHCMG network. Advanced imaging, including CT and US, is available routinely and STAT.

Work schedule is 12-hour rotating shifts, totaling 38 hours/week full-time. We are a supportive and collaborative physician group looking to expand and grow!

Must be comfortable with:

• Pediatrics, adolescents, adults, elderly
• Laceration repair, I&Ds, burn care, wound care
• X-ray interpretation, splinting, minor fracture care
• GYN, STD testing
• EKG interpretation
• Occupational medicine
• Workers' compensation
• Vaccine administration
