Signing Bonus Eligible (Full-Time or Part-Time Employment)

MedStar Health Urgent Care is seeking experienced physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in emergency medicine, urgent care, or family medicine. New graduates are also considered. Providers work autonomously with physician mentorship and can set preferences for their top sites within a designated region.

Regions include: Capitol Hill, Adams Morgan, Alexandria (VA), Bethesda (MD), Chevy Chase (MD), Silver Spring (MD), and Hyattsville (MD).

Responsibilities:

1. Manage acute walk-in urgent cases and perform minor procedures such as suturing, fracture care/splinting, I&Ds, interpreting EKGs, and reading X-rays (films are read by radiologists).
2. Utilize onsite low-complexity labs for point-of-care testing; most sites are equipped with full x-ray suites and supportive staff.
3. Work in a facility open 12 hours daily with variable shift lengths.

Compensation and Benefits:

The position offers a salary range of $224,640 - $291,200, complemented by a comprehensive healthcare package (medical, dental, and vision) and other benefits. Compensation is determined based on experience, education, and skills, in accordance with equal pay laws. The salary range is an estimate and may be adjusted in the future.
