Full-Time Urgent Care Physician Position in Providence, RI with National Wound Physician Group. Clinical satisfaction, autonomy and flexibility, work-life balance. Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in facilities across multiple sites.
• Receive physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship for clinical excellence.
• Maintain clinical practice in wound care with modern modalities and technologies.
• Deliver care with autonomy and flexibility in a mobile practice setting.
• Participate in ongoing training and education during onboarding and fellowship.

Qualifications

Practice Overview

• Full-time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part-time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week; full-time is 4-5 days per week.
• Mobile practice: visits facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Typically treat 20-30 patients per day across 2-3 facilities.
• Clinical documentation is at point of care during rounds using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
• Paid Training provided during onboarding plus a 6-month wound care fellowship.
