Vohra Wound Physicians in Providence, RI is seeking a Full-Time Internal Medicine Physician to lead bedside wound care across post-acute facilities. The role offers clinical autonomy, a no nights/no weekends schedule, and paid onboarding with a 6‑month wound care fellowship.

This mobile practice serves facilities within a 40–60 mile radius, with a 7am–4pm, Monday–Friday window or a part-time option 3 days/week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care across 3,200 facilities in 28 states.

• Visit 2–3 facilities daily; treat ~20–30 patients per day.

Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
• Receive physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship to develop clinical excellence.
• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day.
• Operate in real-time at the point of care using our proprietary wound-specific EMR during clinical rounds.
• Participate in paid training during onboarding plus a 6-month wound care fellowship.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• No work visa sponsorship available.

Practice Details

• Full-time work: Monday – Friday (7am–4pm) or part-time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Mobile practice: Physicians visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week; full-time is 4–5 days per week.

Compensation & Benefits

• W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits.
