Qualifications

• BE/BC Physician with applicable clinical experience.
• Experience in urgent care or similar settings is preferred.
• New grads accepted with relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to a mixed patient volume of 80-100 patients daily.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, toenail removal, and simple casting.
• Rotate between two urgent care locations with no call schedule.

Job description

Seeking a BE/BC Physician to join 2 Urgent Care practices in NE South Carolina.

• Team: 6 Fulltime MDs and a Pool of PRN and Part-time and 5 Fulltime APPs and a Pool of PRN
  
• Rotate between 2 area locations
  
• Schedule: 40 Hours per week/salaried/weekend rotation (physician usually works 1 or 2 weekend days a month) Two locations Urgent Care style clinic. 8am-8pm M-F and 8-4 S/S
  
• Patient mix/cases: Walk in fast track type patients everything from broken bones to cuts, STI pts, some pelvic exams, high blood pressure, chest pains
• Procedures: I&D, suturing, toe nail removal, etc, some splinting and simple casting (boots and crutches for ortho)
• Daily patient volume: 80-100 (M-F) and 60-80 (S&S) depending on season. We staff a minimum of 2 providers at each location Monday-Sunday.
• Call schedule: No call, no nights, rotating holidays
• Equipment: EKG, Nebulizer, X-Ray
• New Grads are accepted with applicable clinical experience
