Job description

Seeking BC/BE Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to practice world-class medical care in our Urgent Care centers located in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Facilities and Support:

• Recently updated/new state-of-the-art urgent care facilities, designed to improve workflow and enhance working conditions. Features include top-of-line digital radiology, on-site POC laboratory services, modern and aesthetically designed patient care rooms, and centrally located work environments with excellent sight lines of the entire treatment area.
• Highly trained staff including on-site XRTs, physician assistants, medical assistants, nurses, and administrative support.
• EPIC electronic health record system for fully integrated access to patient records.
• Radiology films available immediately for viewing/reading on-site; radiology over-reads by BC radiologist within 30 minutes.
• Referral management and full specialty backup through the HHCMG network.
• Advanced imaging (CT & US) available routinely and STAT.

Schedule and Group:

• 12-hour weekday shifts, 8-hour weekend shifts. 38 hours/week full-time.

• Pediatrics, adolescents, adults, elderly
• Laceration repair, I&Ds, burn care, wound care
• X-ray interpretation, splinting, minor fracture care
• GYN, STD testing

• Vaccine administration
