Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican in Capitola, CA is seeking an Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive care in a fast-paced, patient-centered clinic. The role focuses on lower acuity cases, with a team-based approach and collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers.

The position offers a competitive salary with production bonuses, sign-on and relocation incentives, 9am–7pm shifts across 7 days, CME allowance, PSLF-eligible employer, and strong benefits. Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or Board-eligible MD or DO in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Active or eligible license in the state of California
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of non-emergent acute illnesses and minor injuries for patients ages 3 months and older across the lifespan
• Perform and interpret diagnostic testing, including labs, EKGs, and imaging
• Perform in-office procedures consistent with urgent care practice
• Collaborate with and supervise Advanced Practice Providers in a team-based care model
• Ensure timely referrals, escalation of care, and care coordination when needed
• Practice within a highly respected, mission-driven organization

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Urgent Care Physician (MD or DO), you will join the thriving Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican, playing a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in our Capitola, CA clinic.

You will provide comprehensive Urgent Care services to a diverse community, focusing on lower acuity cases and a variety of acute illnesses and minor trauma. We are offering the following incentives to eligible new hires:

• Competitive annual salary guarantee of $376,200 with production bonuses
• Sign-on bonus: up to $40,000
• Relocation assistance: up to $20,000
• 10-hour shifts, no overnights

Job Requirements

Required

• Board-certified or Board-eligible MD or DO in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine

• Spanish proficiency is a plus
• Urgent care, emergency medicine, or ambulatory acute care experience
