Position Overview

For eight years, Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring Family Physicians for a 100% tele‑health position within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve‑hour (12) shifts with a 1‑hour break.
  • Full‑time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on‑call shifts per month, and practice from 8 am to 9 pm.
  • Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low‑acuity setting.
  • Manage up to 4 advanced‑level practitioners (FNPs and PAs)
  • Equipment: We offer In‑house Point‑of‑Care testing, X‑ray, and EKG.
  • A Board‑Certified Radiologist reads all X‑rays, and results are available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
  • Easy‑to‑use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation and document all patients in one minute.

  • CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
