Job summary

BHMG Urgent Care Paducah is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PRN) to support clinicians under supervision. You will check in patients, obtain vital signs, document history, assist with rooming and basic procedures, and help keep the EPIC system organized to facilitate smooth clinic flow.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and basic Life Support training; strong communication and accuracy in patient records are essential to uphold Baptist Health’s standards of care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support and other training as appropriate within 90 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills navigating databases containing highly confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manages the coordination and flow of patients to create an exceptional experience.
• Check provider schedule and prepare patient information before visits.
• Capture vitals, medical history, medications, and pharmacy information.
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance and proper documentation.
