Job summary

The Urgent Care, LLC in the Greater New Orleans area is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our clinical team. The role involves travel between our clinic locations and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced walk-in environment.

The ideal candidate is an experienced provider with a commitment to compassionate care, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with supervising physicians and clinic teams.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited PA/NP program and hold active Louisiana license.
• Minimum two years in urgent care, emergency medicine, family or primary care; three years preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS; DEA registration and state prescriptive authority as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, physical exams, evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, EKGs, and laboratory studies.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, splinting, and wound care.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans per guidelines.
• Document all patient encounters in EMR accurately and timely.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up with patients.
