Job summary

Carbon Health is seeking a part-time or full-time Urgent Care clinician (PA/NP) to join our nationwide network. You’ll perform urgent care assessments, order tests, and treat a variety of conditions while leveraging CarbyOS, our AI-powered EHR.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant: Medical/Master’s degree with a valid state license and national certification.
• Nurse Practitioner: RN license, NP certification, and a valid state license.
• DOT Certification: Must be obtained prior to your start date; Carbon will cover the course and exam fees.
• BLS certification is required and must be obtained before your first day with Carbon Health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for urgent care conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, labs, and EKGs.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as laceration repair, I&Ds, and splinting.
• Collaborate with a network of peers and supervisors to enhance patient outcomes.
• Triage and manage patients efficiently to maintain clinic flow (4–5 patients per hour).
