Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a capable administrator with an MA background to oversee Urgent Care locations at Domino's Farms and Milan. The role involves training Medical Assistant staff, supervising day-to-day operations, and coordinating patient and provider activities to ensure smooth care delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of Medical Office experience, strong leadership, and credentialing as a Medical Assistant (CMA or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in a Medical Office with reception or cross-trained Medical Assisting duties.
• Must be credentialed as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or CMAC).
• Education: High School Diploma, plus coursework or seminars in management or supervision.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of assigned areas.
• Resolve more complex patient reception/medical records or insurance issues.
• Improve processes and the patient experience.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, orientation, training and coaching of staff.
• Maintain scheduling and time/attendance for staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and manage promotions/discipline.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
