Job summary
Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks an RN Educator to support clinical education, staff development, and nursing competency across urgent care clinics. You will partner with nursing leadership, providers, and interprofessional teams to prepare staff for safe, evidence-based care and coordinate onboarding, education, and competency evaluation.
Responsibilities include developing orientation programs, facilitating demonstrations and simulations, and maintaining training records to drive quality
Qualifications
- State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License is required.
- BSN is required; MSN or related Master's degree preferred.
- Specialty certifications in nursing, informatics, education, or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate orientation and education programs for urgent care nursing staff.
- Coordinate onboarding with clinic leaders and preceptors to support transitions into practice.
- Assess learning needs through feedback, observations, and competency assessments.
- Provide education on patient assessment, triage, emergency response, and infection prevention.
