Carolina QuickCare is hiring a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Jacksonville clinic. You will assess and treat patients with acute and episodic conditions in a fast-paced urgent care setting, delivering high-quality care on-site.

You will work three 12-hour shifts per week, with flexible scheduling and a sign-on bonus based on experience. The role includes DOT exams, in-house labs, EMR documentation, and a supportive clinic team.

Qualifications

• FNP-C or PA-C licensed in North Carolina, or eligible for licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 1+ year of urgent care, emergency, or primary care experience preferred.

Carolina QuickCare is hiring a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Jacksonville clinic. Jacksonville is a military-connected city in coastal North Carolina, home to Camp Lejeune and a growing community with strong demand for healthcare services.

At a Glance

• Pay: $55-$90/hour based on experience, qualifications, and clinical assessment, time-and-a-half after 40 hours
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, so 4 days off every week
• Average of 3-4 patients per hour

What You'll Do

Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and episodic conditions. Perform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, and DOT physicals. Order and interpret in-house labs and imaging. Prescribe, educate patients, and chart in Experity EMR.

How You'll Practice

You are the provider on-site and make your own clinical decisions, backed by established protocols, a dedicated clinic team, and clinical leadership when you need them. Onboarding includes a structured clinical orientation. Schedules are published in advance through a self-scheduling app, and extra shifts are easy to pick up.

Compensation

$55-$90/hour based on experience, qualifications, and clinical assessment. Productivity incentives are available above base pay. Sign-on bonuses are offered on a case-by-case basis, based on experience and start date. Relocation assistance may also be available.

Qualifications
