Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Join to apply for the Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role at Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc.

We have an opening in South Dennis, MA, for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 2+ years of emergency medicine or 3+ years of experience in high-volume urgent care, including the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients. In this role, you will:

1. Examine and treat urgent care patients, ensuring proper injury care, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
2. Prescribe and administer medication.
3. Request necessary tests and follow-up visits.
4. Refer patients to specialists as necessary.

Our centers are open 7 days a week from 8 AM to 8 PM. Full-time positions require working three or four 12-hour shifts per week (84 hours biweekly), including every other weekend.

Skills and Qualifications

• Provide 5-star patient care in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
• Experience with EHR systems, occupational health, emergency room, and family practice procedures.
• Ability to use necessary medical equipment such as EKG, nebulizer, etc.

Education & Experience

• Current NP or PA license in the state where you are applying.
• Credentialed to see patients of all ages.
• Active DEA license with no restrictions.
• Current DOT certification or ability to become certified.
