Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens coverage in a busy urgent care clinic. The schedule runs 8a–8p daily with 25–50 patients seen per day, and credentialing is expected within ~90 days.

Applicants must hold PA or NP licensure in Pennsylvania and possess a DEA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive support for travel and lodging arrangements.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania PA/NP licensure and DEA required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services in a fast-paced clinic.
• Manage patient load of 25–50 per day in urgent care setting.
• Cover clinic hours 8:00 am–8:00 pm, 7 days a week.
• Maintain compliance with Pennsylvania licensure and DEA requirements.
