Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage in Pittsburgh, PA. The clinic operates 8a–8p, with shifts available, and handles 25–50 patients daily.

Starting ASAP, credentialing is estimated at 90 days. State licensure in Pennsylvania and DEA, along with BLS/ACLS/PALS and board certification, are required. Malpractice insurance and travel/lodging arrangements are typically provided by AMN.

Qualifications

• Urgent care experience required or preferred.
• PA-C or NP certification with applicable state licensure.
• Board certification and active Pennsylvania license; DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care assessments and treatment in a busy clinic.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and support staff.
• Manage patient flow with 25–50 patients per day.
