Job summary

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care in Springfield is seeking Advanced Practitioners (PA/NP) to provide urgent care services across a broad range of acute conditions. You will assess patients, document histories, order tests, diagnose, prescribe medications, and manage minor injuries with sutures or splints.

Strong communication and EMR proficiency are essential. Required are a Bachelor's for PAs or a Master's for NPs, 2–5 years of post-residency experience, and national certification with active state

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants
Master’s Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience
18 months minimum experience in applicable setting
Adult and pediatric practice experience preferred
National Certification (ANNC or AANP) and active state licensure
Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Department settings
EMR experience and basic suturing, splinting skills

Responsibilities

Examine and treat patients
Take patient histories
Order and interpret tests and X-rays
Diagnose and prescribe medications
Treat minor injuries with sutures, splints, or casting
Document progress notes and follow-ups
Educate and counsel patients
Coordinate care and refer when needed
All other duties as assigned
