Prisma Health Urgent Care seeks talented Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners who are relentlessly dedicated to deliver exceptional customer service by putting patients’ needs first. Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible and SC license
• Advanced degree from NP/PA program
• Licensed NP/PA in SC
• Current DEA registration
• DOT certification
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred
• Experience in suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience reading X-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (provided if needed)
• Strong communication with patients and families

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management.
• Deliver uncompromising care and patient satisfaction.
• Provide care within Prisma Health Urgent Care policies and procedures.
• Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Complete documentation and ensure communication for proper reimbursement.
• Participate in meetings and operations of the urgent care.
• Maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS) as required.
• Report to Regional Medical Director or Area Clinical Operations Director.
