Job summary

Peachtree Immediate Care in Georgia Market is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to cover Acworth, Decatur, and Johns Creek with 12- to 15-shift monthly, 8am–8pm, 12-hour blocks. You will work as a solo provider across multiple locations and see a mix of new and returning patients.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of UC experience, GA license and DEA, be able to read EKGs and X-rays, perform suturing and splinting, and use Practice Velocity EMR.

Qualifications

• GA medical license and DEA registration required.
• Minimum 2 years of urgent care experience.
• Comfortable seeing patients of all ages.
• DOT certification preferred but not required.
• Must read EKGs and X-rays.
• Suturing and splinting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in urgent care settings during 12‑hour shifts.
• Work as a solo provider across multiple locations.
• Handle common urgent care cases: flu, lacerations, UTIs, etc.
• Read and interpret EKGs and X-rays; overread radiographs.
• Perform suturing and splinting as needed.
• Document using Practice Velocity EMR.

Specific Locations That Have Needs: Acworth, Decatur and Johns Creek

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant:

• Seeking 12-15 shifts per month
• Shift Time: 8a-8p (12hr shifts)
• 50+ locations but need Acworth, Decatur and Johns Creek
• Open 7 days a week
• Average Patients: 4 per hour
• Must be comfortable with all ages
• 75% are new patients
• Working as a solo provider
• Must have at least 2 years of UC experience
• Typical Cases/Procedures: Flu, Lacerations, Sore Throat, UTI, Diarrhea, Stitch Check, Med Reactions, STD Treatment, suturing, splinting, etc.
• Also must be able to recognize and read EKG changes and X-Rays
• All X-rays are 100% overread
• Lab review is required
• Drug screen is done by the MA
• Must be Certified
• Must have GA license and DEA
• DOT is preferred but not required
