BestMed Clinics is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our urgent care and occupational medicine team in Springfield, OR. We focus on delivering care that is personal and keeping patients out of the hospital.

You will be supported by experienced clinical teams, modern facilities and technology, with a strong emphasis on team input and growth. Experience in outpatient urgent care and DEA licensure are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA with current, unrestricted license in Oregon
• DEA licensure
• Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care in an urgent care setting
• Deliver care, treatment and referrals per clinical judgment
• Arrange for referrals for non-provided specialties
• Evaluate patients and establish diagnoses and treatment plans
• Perform clinical procedures within scope
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment goals to patients
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
• Support occupational and telemedicine patient care
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review
• Assist Medical Director with other duties
