Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for Nursing and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses; licensed in Ohio as RN and APRN; BLS certified.
• Or graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant Program; licensed in Ohio as a PA; prior Urgent Care experience; BLS certified.
• National Board of Medical Examiner certification or Board eligible is preferred.

Responsibilities

• APRNs provide primary health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.
• APRN assess and manage common acute and chronic illnesses, consult, and refer to physicians and the health care team.
• PAs conduct physical exams, diagnose, treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, and counsel on preventive care.
