Job summary

Xpress Wellness Urgent Care is seeking newly graduated Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to begin their careers in a structured and supportive clinical environment. Our robust new-provider training program helps recent graduates transition into practice while developing the judgment, efficiency, and procedural skills needed to succeed in urgent care.

Providers work a full-time schedule of 7 twelve‑hour shifts during each 14‑day period, allowing for meaningful time away from

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Family Nurse Practitioner certification for NP applicants.
• National certification appropriate to the provider’s discipline.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in urgent care across a broad range of illnesses and injuries.
• Perform patient histories and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
• Develop treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice.
• Identify patients requiring emergency or specialty care.
• Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation.
• Educate patients and families clearly.
• Collaborate with clinic staff and leadership.
