Job summary

Xpress Wellness is seeking newly graduated Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants who are ready to begin their careers in a structured and supportive clinical environment. Our robust new-provider training program helps recent graduates transition from the classroom into practice while developing the judgment, efficiency, and procedural skills needed to succeed in urgent care.

Positions across Oklahoma (Ada, Altus, Guymon, Lawton), Kansas (Emporia, Liberal), and Texas

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Family Nurse Practitioner certification for NP applicants.
• National certification appropriate to the provider’s discipline.
• Eligibility for an Oklahoma or Kansas professional license.
• DEA registration or eligibility to obtain registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to treating patients of all ages.
• Interest in urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with a broad range of illnesses, injuries, and episodic healthcare needs.
• Perform patient histories and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging.
• Develop appropriate treatment and follow-up plans.
• Prescribe medications within the provider’s scope of practice.
• Identify patients who require emergency or specialty care.
