Job summary

Progressive Community Health Centers in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Urgent Care clinic. You will provide urgent health care under the supervision of a licensed physician, elicit patient histories, and perform complete examinations.

Wisconsin licensure with at least one year of clinical experience is required; urgent care or ED experience is preferred; a minimum of one weekend per month is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
• Currently licensed in Wisconsin with at least one year of clinical experience.
• Prior urgent care or emergency department experience preferred.
• Must be able to work at least one weekend per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent health care under supervision of a licensed physician.
• Elicit detailed patient histories and perform comprehensive exams.
• Reach diagnoses independently in consultation with physicians as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure quality patient care.
