American Family Care, Inc. is actively seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for its urgent care team. This role emphasizes delivering high-quality care, conducting patient assessments and procedures independently, and collaborating with healthcare staff in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urgent care, be able to manage high patient volumes effectively, and contribute to exceptional patient experiences while upholding a commitment to clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a similar setting.
• Ability to diagnose and implement evidence-based treatments.
• Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and histories.
• Diagnose acute conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests like X-rays and labs.
• Perform procedures like suturing and wound care.

Skills

Active NP or PA license in Pennsylvania

Board Certified (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA)

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in urgent care

Confidence in performing procedures

Strong communication skills

Education

BLS certification

ACLS certification (preferred)

DOT certification (preferred)
