Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health Primary Care, Inc. seeks a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for our Urgent Care clinic in Massachusetts.

Under the supervision of a collaborating physician, you will provide preventative care and manage acute and chronic illnesses, creating treatment plans and coordinating referrals as needed. The ideal candidate has an NP or PA credential with MA licensure and prior urgent care or emergency care exposure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Master’s in Nursing program or a Physician Assistant program.
• Certification and current NP or PA license to practice in Massachusetts (DEA/MACSR)

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough physical examinations and obtain complete medical histories.
• Maintain patient records and relevant statistics.
• Evaluate data to determine preliminary diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Administer medications and injections per state law and employer guidelines.
• Obtain specimens for lab analysis and prepare patients for diagnostic testing.
