Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for locum tenens urgent care assignments across Connecticut. Positions require handling minor emergencies, trauma care, and pediatric patients, with travel between multiple clinical sites.

Shift schedules are 12-hour blocks; licensure in CT and active DEA are mandatory. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided. Credentialing takes ~90 days.

Qualifications

• Licenses: Active CT license required.
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS or PALS.
• Experience: Total years of experience and most recent experience required.
• Other Qualifications: Ability to travel at least 45 minutes, split day between two locations, amenable to last-minute changes.

• Provide urgent care services to patients of all ages.
• Perform suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, splinting.
• Interpret X-rays and EKGs.
• Work independently and manage patient volume efficiently.
