Quinault Community Health in Aberdeen, Washington is hiring a Nurse Practitioner for our Quick Care/Urgent Care team. You will provide timely, high-quality care for acute illnesses and same-day needs, drawing on clinical expertise and independent judgment while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and medical assistants.

You will perform exams, diagnose, treat, and manage patients, order and interpret tests, and ensure compassionate, culturally responsive care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Washington State NP license in good standing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current, unrestricted DEA registration appropriate to the position and scope of practice.
• Knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute illnesses in Quick Care/Urgent Care settings.
• Knowledge of pharmacology, dosing, interactions, and safe prescribing practices.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive same-day evaluation and treatment for acute illnesses, injuries, and urgent care needs.
• Obtain histories, perform exams, and develop treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage conditions within scope of practice.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications per guidelines and policies.
• Perform procedures appropriate to training and scope.
• Ensure timely clinical documentation within 96 hours of encounters.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to promote safe, coordinated care.
