Job summary

QUICK CARE MED P L in Inverness, FL seeks a licensed NP or PA to provide urgent and non-urgent care in an outpatient urgent care setting, serving a multicultural patient population with a flexible schedule.

You will assess patients, perform exams, order tests, manage care plans, document within 48 hours, coordinate referrals, mentor staff, and participate in ongoing education. Competitive salary and benefits, including 401(k) and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Active FL license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Dispensing medications and prescribing of controlled substances
• Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy toward patients
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and culturally diverse populations
• Experience with minor procedures (laceration repair, wound care, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care in an ambulatory urgent care setting.
• Assess patients, perform examinations, diagnose, and plan treatment.
• Lead clinic medical staff and participate in protocol development.
• Document procedures and patient contacts within 48 hours.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care.
