Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join the JeffExpress Urgent Care at Schuylkill Medical Plaza in Pottsville, PA. This JeffExpress Urgent Care is open 7 days a week from 8a-8p, with a team of APCs and physicians to support high-volume patient care.

You will provide on-demand urgent care, perform on-site procedures and point-of-care testing, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within Jefferson Health's academic network.

Qualifications

• Current PA or NP license in Pennsylvania.
• NCCPA Board Certification (PA) or NP Certification (AANP/ANCC).
• Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care rotation experience required or RN background in EM/UC.
• Two years of relevant clinical experience as PA/CRNP preferred.
• Ability to practice autonomously within a team-based urgent care model.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-demand urgent care to walk-in patients.
• Perform on-site procedures and point-of-care testing.
• Collaborate with APCs, physicians, nurses and support staff.
