Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join the JeffExpress Urgent Care at Schuylkill Medical Plaza in Pottsville, PA. Open 7 days a week, 8am–8pm, this fast-paced practice currently has three APCs and offers a rotating schedule with cross-site opportunities.

As an APC in our health network, you’ll deliver high-quality, on-demand care with a supportive, collaborative team, backed by the region’s largest academic health system to enhance professional growth

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania state license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner or ability to obtain one is required.
• NCCPA Board Certification (PA)
• National NP Certification through AANP or ANCC
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care or a similar specialty
• Two years of relevant clinical experience as a PA, CRNP is preferred
• Passion for clinical work to positively impact patient care, safety and experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, on-demand care in urgent care settings.
• Collaborate with a team of APCs, physicians, nurses and support staff.
• Maintain a fast-paced, patient-focused environment across sites as needed
