Job summary

Atrium Health in High Point, NC is seeking a Physician Assistant to support patient care within a collaborative medical team. You will use medical decision-making to determine care plans and coordinate with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities include ordering and interpreting labs and imaging, performing procedures per guidelines, and contributing to clinical research or student instruction. Flexibility for occasional irregular hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; Master's degree preferred.
• Licensed PA with current state license and NCCPA certification.
• Experience in a clinical setting and team-based care is desirable.

• Determine appropriate patient care plans using medical decision-making.
• Collaborate with medical team for effective team-based care.
• Order and interpret lab tests and diagnostic procedures; explain procedures to patients.
• Perform procedures per department guidelines.
• Participate in basic science and clinical research projects.
