Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors or patients and directs them using Baptist Health Care values.
• Enters patient demographics into the practice management system and maintains accurate records.
• Schedules appointments, sends reminders, and follows up on no-shows.
• Receives and routes incoming calls professionally.
• Handles copays, verifies insurance, and explains financial requirements to patients.
• Coordinates referrals and may arrange authorizations and referrals for tests or procedures.
• Works with providers, insurance companies, patients and families.
