Cedar Point Health in Clifton, Colorado seeks an Urgent Care Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering patient care and management. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient interaction, and efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a physician’s office or clinical setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsabilités

• Conducts pre-visit planning by reviewing and updating patient records and conferring with the provider.
• Prepares patients for examination and treatment by escorting them to the exam room and taking vitals.
• Prepare, clean, and keep rooms stocked.
• Assists with injections, blood draws and procedures as directed by a provider.
• Administers medications per physician order and responds to medication requests per protocol.
• Triages, schedules tests not available in the office, and responds to patient communication.
• Assists with patient education and self-management.
• Maintains courteous relationships with outside caregivers, insurance carriers, labs, hospital, and pharmacies.
• Demonstrates flexibility by covering at different locations when needed.
