Peachtree Immediate Care in Phenix City, AL is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant (CMA/EMT/LPN). You will work in a fast-paced urgent care team, performing exams, vitals, lab work, and basic procedures to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants with patient care, examinations, and minor procedures.
• Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, medications, and allergies.
• Perform laboratory testing, venipuncture, wound care, and medication administration within scope of practice.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and clinical equipment.
• Support occupational health services and radiographic imaging when applicable.
• Provide patients with discharge instructions and education as directed by providers.
• Answer patient questions and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards.
• Assist with scheduling referrals, testing, and follow-up care as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (certification preferred) or licensed/certified as an LPN or EMT.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to float between clinics as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient, urgent care, or clinical setting preferred.

Schedule & Availability

• Part-Time Position
• Two 12-hour shifts per week
• Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Float coverage between clinics as needed
