Job summary

Peachtree Immediate Care in Columbus, GA is hiring a CMA/EMT/LPN to join our Midtown location. This on-site role supports urgent care patients with exams, vital signs, minor procedures, and documentation.

You will work three 12-hour shifts, 8 am–8 pm, with rotating weekends, and may float between LaGrange, Columbus-Midtown and Columbus-Manchester as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (certification preferred) or licensed as LPN or EMT.
• Reliable transportation to travel between regional locations.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a team.
• Comfort in a fast-paced urgent care setting with varied medical responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical providers with patient care, exams, and minor procedures.
• Perform vital signs, document patient information, and ensure accurate medical records.
• Conduct lab tests, administer medications, and perform wound care as directed.
• Maintain exam rooms and medical equipment in a clean, safe condition.
• Support occupational health services and radiographic imaging where applicable.
• Ensure high levels of patient comfort, answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols to maintain a healthy environment.
