Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for the 02190 GCMG Urgent Care: Rock Hill - Immediate Care location. This full-time role involves rooming patients, taking vitals, and supporting physicians with procedures in a high-volume urgent care setting.

The position requires completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training, and current BLS certification. Sign-on bonus eligibility applies based on location and eligibility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming tasks: vital signs, history, screenings, medication reconciliation.
• Assists provider with procedures as ordered.
• Performs venipuncture, specimen collection, POCT and CLIA-waived tests.
• Administers medications and vaccines safely; manages refills and scheduling.
