Job summary

UT Urgent Care Clinic in Knoxville, TN is seeking experienced Medical Assistants for our Halls location to support providers during exams, record vitals, and perform procedures in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

We offer a 36-hour work week across three shifts, potential overtime, and a benefits package including health, retirement, PTO, and professional development through the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

Qualifications

• GED or Higher School Diploma required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program, registered/certified (RMA/CMA) or 2+ years’ experience in medical office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients/families during visits.
• Accurately records patient history, vitals, and reports to the practitioner.
• Assist provider with examinations, procedures and other direct patient care tasks.
