Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care in Arizona is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced team. You will support providers with exams, take vitals, administer medications, draw blood, collect urine samples, and assist with clinical and front-office duties.

Proficiency in EMR/EHR and strong patient care skills are essential. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, completed an approved MA training program, and possess CMA/RMA/CCMA certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program.
• National certification: CMA, RMA or CCMA preferred/required as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with exams and patient vitals under supervision.
• Administer medications per policy and safety procedures.
• Perform blood draws and urine collection for testing.
• Assist with sports and other physicals and wound care.
• Maintain EMR/EHR accuracy and clinic documentation.
• Support front office tasks as needed to manage patient flow.
