Job summary

Patriot Urgent Care in Maryland seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in fast-paced urgent care clinics. You will greet patients, perform intake, prepare exam rooms, and assist with procedures, labs, and radiology as needed.

The role requires completion of an accredited clinical program, CMA or license eligibility, and ability to work extended shifts and weekends in a patient-focused setting. CRH Healthcare offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited professional clinical program.
• CMA certification preferred or willing to obtain; license required for LPN/EMT/RT.
• Ability to work weekday and/or weekend shifts.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts as location demands.
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of EMR.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assure smooth patient flow.
• Perform clinical intake: history, meds, chief complaint, vital signs.
• Explain procedures and prepare patient and exam room.
• Position instruments and hand to provider as directed.
• Clean instruments and equipment after use.
• Administer medications, dress wounds, draw blood, assist procedures.
• Perform basic diagnostic tests and CLIA-waived labs.
• Conduct urine drug screens with proper chain of custody.
• Assist radiology if needed and document services.
• Support onboarding and training of new staff.
• Assist front desk with registration and clerical duties.
