Job summary

Peachtree Immediate Care in Duluth, GA is seeking a Medical Assistant (CMA/LPN/EMT) for a full-time, on-site role. The incumbent will support physicians in urgent care and occupational medicine, perform lab work, injections, wound care, and patient intake with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.

The clinic operates seven days a week (8 am–8 pm); candidates should be flexible to float between nearby clinics and shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistant; certification preferred.
• Licensed Practical Nurses, Emergency Medical Technicians, etc., must have current State licensure.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Reliable transportation to commute to assigned regional offices.
• Ability to work independently and in a high-paced facility.
• Ability to escort or transport patients by wheelchair when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, PAs, or NPs in urgent care and occupational medicine.
• Perform lab work, basic X-rays, and medication administration as directed.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and supplies.
• Document patient information, vital signs, medications, and allergies.
• Support scheduling of tests and referrals and communicate with patients.
