Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team across New England clinics. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, triage, and collaboration with physicians and staff to support efficient clinic operations.

The LPN will perform diagnostic testing, administer medications, manage wounds and immunizations, and help maintain EMRs while ensuring patient safety and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State licensed practical nurse (LPN) with IV experience; Maine/NH require IV certification.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross; no CPR/ACLS online.
• Compassionate, patient-focused mindset and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient triage, measure vitals, document medical history.
• Assist with patient exams and support providers during testing.
• Perform diagnostic and testing procedures (vision, hearing, drug screens, spirometry).
• Execute point-of-care tests (strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipid, urinalysis).
• Provide cardiac and airway management (ECG, AED, nebulizers, oxygen).
• Deliver wound care, immunizations, and medication administration.
• Assist with patient inquiries, explain test results and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and document histories.
• Ensure instruments/equipment are clean, sterile, and stocked.
• Collaborate with clinical team and train new team members.
