The Baptist Health Urgent Care Beebe location is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to greet patients, take vital signs, administer injections, and support physicians during exams.

This full-time role features a rotating 36-40 hour week with weekend shifts and comprehensive benefits within a respected Arkansas healthcare system. LPN license in AR and hospital/clinic experience preferred; strong patient communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in Arkansas.
• Experience in hospital or clinic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients, preparing them for examination, recording health history and noting abnormal conditions.
• Assist with supplies and aid the physician during treatment and testing.
• Give injections and administer medications; monitor patient response.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and records.
• Schedule tests and coordinate referrals; obtain pre-authorizations.
• Collect and document lab specimens and obtain results.
• Notify patients of results and follow-up appointments.
• Restock exam rooms and maintain infection control.
• Instruct patients on medications and discharge instructions.
• Assist with physical exams and prepare for annual physicals.
• Coordinate pharmacy orders and patient notifications.
• Maintain inventory of medications and controlled substances.
• Monitor equipment and maintain stock.
• Triage calls and route to nurse or physician.
