Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls, ID is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our urgent care team. The LPN will provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision and support physicians, PAs, and NPs.

Responsibilities include conducting head-to-toe assessments, assisting with procedures, performing waived testing as needed, educating patients on pain management, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• LPN license/certification required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire.
• IV therapy certification and drug administration certification preferred or required within 60 days of hire (LPN).
• Experience: 6 months required; 2–5 years clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision in urgent care.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassess per policy.
• Assist providers with procedures and deliver services within licensure.
• Perform waived testing when needed and interpret results.
• Educate patients and families on pain management and care plans.
• Maintain documentation and patient confidentiality; coordinate with staff.
