Bayview Physicians Group in Hampton Roads, VA is seeking an Urgent Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a fast-growing outpatient multi-specialty practice. The role focuses on patient interaction, accurate documentation, and high-quality nursing care under physician supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active LPN license in the state of Virginia.
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles and clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to travel to satellite locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming experience for every patient.
• Provide high-quality nursing care under the direction of physicians and office leadership.
• Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, and maintain accurate EHR records.
• Administer medications and injections safely and accurately, ensuring complete documentation (medication, dosage, route, lot number, and patient response).
• Update patient information at each visit, including medications, allergies, and medical/family history.
• Answer patient phone calls, assist with questions, and route messages to providers efficiently.
• Support smooth clinic operations while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
